Software

Each copy of Surfnet Premiere Software has a unique serial number. This serial number is monitored by a Tio Networks server and details reports and information about your kiosk online, real-time, 24/7. The monitoring of all kiosks is mandatory and a monthly service fee will apply.

the watchdog

This is something that the competition does not have! The PCI Watchdog device is a PCI card installed in the PC. Its primary function is to 'talk' to and monitor SurfNet Premiere software. It can instruct a Kiosk to reboot at a specific time of day and it resets the kiosk data monitored by kiosk services each day. In the advent of a PC software failure the Watchdog will reboot the Kiosk after a specific time preset on the PCI card and return the Kiosk to its original state.

credit cards

Your kiosk will accept payment by way of coin mechanism (fitted as standard) and Credit Card. If you choose to have a Credit Card reader fitted on your kiosk then all revenue generated by this will be rebated against the cost of the monthly service fee.
The kiosk will accept Amex, Visa, MasterCard and Discovery cards. The transaction is accepted or denied in real time, online by a Tio server. Should a fraudulent transaction occur the card number is logged on the Tio server and will deny access for any further transactions.

customer benefits of using credit cards

You can offer discounts to your customers when they use a credit card and add more time to their session. A minimum payment of $4NZD when a credit card is used is required however your customer can get 20 minutes or more access time depending on how much time you want to give them.

the cost of kiosk services

As owner/operator you have access to these details and the service costs $15USD per month per each working serial number or kiosk. The fee is payable monthly to Tio Networks by direct debit or SurfNZ Kiosks can integrate and manage this service for you.

kiosk portal

SurfNZ kiosks have their own portal www.airmailcafe.com that serves your customers with easy access to most popular email programs and topical web sites. You may choose to use this portal or opt to use your own.

SurfNZ Kiosks Limited are a NZ agent representing Tio Networks in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The Kiosk housings are built in Auckland to our own specification and SurfNZ integrate the hardware and software to give you a total package.
